Kisiel by Gellwe – cherry-flavoured jelly dessert to cook in minutes
Kisiel from Gellwe is a powder for a cherry-flavoured jelly dessert, thickened with potato starch. You get a carton of 20 × 38 g. Kisiel is a thick, spoonable dessert known in Poland and other Eastern European countries.

How to Use:
- Dissolve the powder in half a cup of the cold water; bring the rest to the boil with 3 tbsp sugar.
- Stir the mixture into the boiling water and cook for about 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Pour into small bowls, leave to cool and serve warm or cold.
Why kisiel? In Poland and much of Eastern Europe, kisiel is a familiar dessert made from fruit juice or flavouring and starch.
Tip: Pour the warm kisiel over vanilla ice cream or serve it with a spoonful of whipped cream.
